Celebrating our culture
We’re big on events at Trainline. Here are some of the things we do to help build connections, celebrate each other and most importantly, have fun!
Company Day & Monthly Meetup
A key part of what makes Trainline special is our people, and the buzz and energy they bring to our offices. That's why we get the whole company together every month for Company Day — think yummy lunches, all-hands meetings, and evening socials. What’s not to love?
Learning events
We put Trainliner's development front and centre with dedicated moments throughout the year such as Global Learning Days and Growth Month.
Tech Summit & Hackathon
Each year we bring Trainliners together for our Hackathon - a chance to think big and collaborate with each other on exciting ideas that could have a big impact on Trainline. We also come together for Tech Summit, our annual opportunity to learn from each other and external experts on technology advancements and the future of travel.

Want to switch trains? We know that no two journeys are the same and that's why we're big on internal mobility. We try to make it as easy as possible for Trainliners to explore new opportunities and find the next stop on their career journey with us.
Our absolute favourite thing to do is celebrate promotions, with about 10% of our Trainliners moving up every year. We have two promotion windows, aligned with mid and end of year performance reviews with robust panels and feedback loops to make this process as fair as possible.

Added extras on the journey
There are lots of benefits to being onboard and we offer a great package to support you on your journey. Some of our benefits differ by location and job level, but here's a flavour of what you can expect.
Working remotely definitely has its positives but there are also huge benefits in coming together physically, and that’s why we’re proud to offer the best of both worlds. We expect Trainliners to work from the office a minimum of 60% of their time over a 12-week period. We also have a 28-day Work from Abroad policy.
